Search

Step 1

Finding Information - "Search"



You can use the search facility to find information. Click the "Search" tab on the top left.

Enter your search into the text box.

Click "Go" or "Search the Internet" to carry out your search. (NB You will be redirected to "Google™ Search" Results)

You may wish to cancel your search entry and start again. Do this by left-clicking on "Clear" (highlighted below)

Your Search entry should now be deleted. You can now Search again as shown earlier.

Step 2

Create a Menu




You can also use the toolbar to create a menu. Type in the name of your menu in the Search box.

Click "Create as Menu" to create your menu.  You can then edit the properties of your menu (below).

Click "Save" to complete creating your new menu.

Related Menus

Your Network Menus™ toolbar will always tell you if the content of the page you are looking at is similar to the content in any of your menus and  pages already saved.

It will tell you by flashing orange and green. By doing this it enables you to see all related menus and pages, and their details.

Click on the "Related Menus" button to see how your menus relate to the content of the page you are viewing.

Below is the drop down menu that appears.

You can search through the related menus by hovering the mouse over them. This opens all of the pages contained within them.

Hover your mouse over each page to reveal further details. Click on them to open the page (NB This will open the page in the same browser window)

To open the page in a different window press: "shift" + "left-click".

 

Additional

If you would like to suggest adding other web pages to the author of a menu , you can do so by clicking the button.

This will take you to the screen below:

If you are currently viewing the page you would like added, click the "The Current Page..." option, and click "Suggest" at the bottom.

If you are not viewing the page you would like to suggest at the time but have visited it recently click the  "Another Page..." option, and click "Suggest" at the bottom.

You can always add additional comments in the text box provided. You may wish to use this space for further URL Addresses.

Shared Menus

The "Shared Menus" tab provides a preset list of menus and pages. On installing Network Menus™ you will automatically have a default list of menus full of useful pages under the "Shared Menus" tab (below):

If you wish to change, remove or add menus to this list, you can suggest changes to the administrator of your server as shown previously.

 

My Friends

Using the  tab, you can view and invite your family & friends to Network Menus™.

Click the "Invite" button after opening the "My Friends" tab.

The following screen will appear:

Enter the full e-mail address of the invitee in the "Invitee..." text box.

You may wish to write additional notes in the "Add Further..." text box.

You can make up to 25 invites using the Network Menus™ Invite option. Click "Invite" to complete the process.

 

You can also see the Menus of your friends under the  the  tab. Click and hold for a short period of time on one of your friends.

Their name should then immediately appear to the right of the  tab as: (e.g.)

Their menu list may appear similar to the one below:

Hover over any menus to reveal their contents and details. You may also wish to drag & drop your friends' menus to your own. Check "Getting Started" for more details.
